A proud mother of two and grandmother of three, Ginger has faced many challenges, but she says Car-Mart has been a steady hand helping her move forward, one vehicle at a time.

Ginger’s journey with Car-Mart of Anniston, Alabama, began during a tough chapter. Coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic, she found herself struggling financially and emotionally. She was on the verge of losing her vehicle and navigating the aftermath of bankruptcy.

“I walked in [to Car-Mart] and said, ‘Here’s where I’m at,’” Ginger recalls. “They didn’t turn me away. They gave me advice and a path forward. Their support brought me back! They helped me as a 60-year-old person coming out of COVID, trying to figure out bills and life.”

Three Vehicles, One Mission

That path led her to three different vehicles over the years – a 2013 Dodge Caravan, a 2016 Nissan Rogue, and now a 2018 Dodge Caravan. Each one represented not just a purchase, but progress. With every car, Ginger rebuilt her credit and restored her confidence.

Ginger credits the America’s Car-Mart team with giving her more than just keys to a vehicle. They gave her a fresh start. “They couldn’t have a better staff,” she says. “They’ve changed my life at a moment when it could’ve gone a completely different direction.”

Confidence on the Road

Beyond the dealership, Ginger, who works for the Girl Scouts of North Central Alabama, lives an adventurous life. As a member of the Butterfly Tribe Women Who Camp, a group of ladies who car-camp out West, she’s put her Car-Mart vehicles to good use exploring nature and making memories. And even as she enjoys her journeys, she’s never far from Car-Mart’s support.

That optional service contract, by the way? She never thought she’d need it. But she’s glad she chose to get it because it saved the day! “I tell everyone, go [to Car-Mart] for the customer service and the service contract,” Ginger says. “They’ll stand behind it.”

Ginger found herself in a tough situation one Friday afternoon – far from home and unsure of what to do next. But she knew exactly who to call: Car-Mart. I’m glad to have them as part of my tribe.”

“I first met Ginger when I was an account rep, and she’s been a phenomenal customer ever since. She’s the definition of girl power: warm, fun, and full of delightful stories, especially about her camping trips. When she got her new van, she immediately put a Girl Scout sticker on the back,” says Cyrena Douglas, General Manager at Car-Mart of Anniston. She adds that Ginger brings Girl Scout cookies for the Car-Mart team, with Thin Mints for Cyrena, since they are her favorite.
